San Francisco is a world-class city with much to offer its residents. However, its prohibitively high cost of living, progressive politics, and highly transient population, provide a difficult environment in which Catholic families can thrive. This discouragement is particularly felt by those who sacrificially live on one income while growing their families.

Incomes can only stretch so far, and when there is no margin in the budget, it feels impossible to be generous to each other and the Church.
